Dental Sterilization

No Risk with State-of-the-Art Sterilization

We never take any risks when it comes to your health. Instruments are sterilized in an autoclave, which meets all safety standards for re-usable dental instruments. This sterilization process is monitored by an outside lab to ensure cleanliness. Some tools are single-use and discarded after a procedure. You can be assured that we maintain these standards for every treatment.

Great Ways to Improve Your Smile # 6

Implants
Dental implants are a popular and effective way to replace missing teeth. Surgically placed in the upper or lower jaw, they function as a sturdy anchor for replacement teeth. Made of titanium and other materials, implants are designed to hold restorations like crowns or bridges blend in with your other teeth, and are a long-term option for restoring your smile.

Braces
While orthodontic work that begins while a child is growing helps produce optimal results, that doesn’t mean that adults can’t have braces. Thanks to advances in orthodontic treatments, metal brackets are not your only option. Removable aligners, or invisible braces,î or clear plastic brackets can all be used to straighten crooked or crowded teeth.

Dental Cavity Prevention

Identifying Cavities in the Beginning Stages

Let's say at your last dental appointment just six months ago the dentist told you your mouth was cavity free. And now, at your next appointment, you're told you have a large cavity. How did that happen? The truth is that the cavity was there six months earlier, it just wasn't detectable at the time.

With the laser scanner, a cavity can be pinpointed at its very beginning, when it is still very small and can be repaired with a minute, invisible filling. This laser also allows for accurate diagnosis so appropriate treatment can follow. In the past, sometimes tooth pain was not accurately identified, and unnecessary procedures were the result. The laser scanner allows us to easily identify cavities and remove the source of discomfort so you can be pain free with a healthy smile.

Bonding
Not happy with the way your teeth look? Bonding may be the answer. For some, it can help restore the natural look of your teeth. Bonding is a process where the dentist attaches or “bonds” materials directly to your tooth. Your natural tooth enamel and dentin are fused together with bonding materials such as porcelain and resins to create a strong structure that looks great.

Dental X-Rays

Significant Reduction in Radiation

Digital X-rays produce 75% less radiation than conventional X-rays. It is a simple process of placing a digital sensor in your mouth and immediately viewing the image on our computer screen. With just one picture, we can view your upper and lower jaws. There is no additional time needed for image development and no polluting chemicals are used.

Dental Mouth Guards

Protect Your Teeth During Sports Activities

Five million teeth each year are knocked out from trauma or injury to the mouth while participating in sports. We encourage the use of a custom-made mouthguard to protect all your teeth. The one-size-fits-all mouthguards sold in stores do not give adequate protection. They do not fit most athletes and often hinder their best performance due to making breathing difficult. The American Dental Association recommends the use of custom mouthguards for these sports:

Acrobatics, weight lifting, basketball, volleyball, boxing, squash, field hockey, water polo, football, gymnastics, surfing, handball, ice hockey, soccer, lacrosse, martial arts, skydiving, racquetball, rugby, roller hockey, shotputting, skateboarding, skiing, and wrestling.
